Dr. Sahil Koul

Dr. Sahil Koul is an Assistant Professor with over 7 years of teaching experience at VIPS. He has successfully contributed to Journalism and Mass Communication curriculum development and delivery. He is enthusiastic professional with background in academic advisement and academic research with a passion for conducting continuous research in the dynamic field of media and communication. An amateur photographer, film enthusiast and a hodophile at heart. Prior to joining VIPS, he was a Senior Research Fellow at School of Communication Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Dr. Koul holds specialization in Print Media and Still Photography and has served as a reporter with leading English daily Hindustan Times. His doctoral thesis highlights  the human rights of journalists working in Jammu and Kashmir.
